Questions about Sensory Bliss

What is an ASMR spa treatment?

An ASMR spa treatment uses slow, light touch to help you relax. In Jo's Sensory Bliss treatments, that means light fingertip tracing, soft brushes, feathers and shells. Many clients describe a soothing tingle and a lasting sense of calm. They aren't recommended if you're very ticklish.

Will I feel the ASMR tingles?

Maybe. ASMR is the soft, tingly, relaxed feeling some people get from gentle sounds or a light touch. Not everyone feels the tingles, and that's okay. Most clients still find the slow, quiet touch very relaxing. [Draft: Jo to confirm]

What should I wear?

[Waiting on Jo: what clients wear for each treatment]

What if I'm ticklish?

Tell Jo before she starts. She can slow down, switch to a different brush or skip a spot. If you're very ticklish, Sensory Bliss may not be for you, and a facial could be a better fit. [Draft: Jo to confirm]

Is Face and Hair Bliss the same as a head spa?

[Waiting on Jo: confirm Face and Hair Bliss uses no water, steam or hair washing before we answer this]

How is Sensory Bliss different from a massage?

[On hold: this answer waits on the same check as Full Body Bliss]

Can I fall asleep, or do we talk?

You can do either. Some clients drift off, and that's fine. Others like to chat quietly at the start. Jo follows your lead and keeps the room calm. [Waiting on Jo: music, nature sounds or soft talking?]
